Have you ever wished there was a home furniture and decor shopping spot that only had stuff you would want your worst enemy to know you own? If, like me, you don’t have a single enemy but appreciate minimalism and non-pretentious design, there is a label for you. BDDW is the home of handcrafted wooden furniture and other home decor. Its lead designer, Tyler Hays, makes these beautiful and timeless pieces in his Philadelphia studio using traditional techniques and domestic woods. He must be some sort of Aidan Shaw. Companies and designers like BDDW are redefining what luxury goods really are and giving new meaning to “Made in America”. One of the good things hipsters have brought us, if any.
