The main value proposition is that for every product you buy, United by Blue removes 1 pound of waste from oceans and waterways, hence the brand’s oceanic allusion. The company claims to have removed a total of 3,400,694 lbs of waste so far (August 2020).
But their commitment to sustainability does not end with the offset approach mentioned above. They also use more environmentally-friendly business practices and manufacturing processes aiming to create sustainable outdoorsy fashion that lasts and products that help people consume less.
