SAYA is a hair accessories label handmade in Indonesia.
The ethically sourced, handcrafted hair sticks are made with wood from roots of deforested areas left behind by loggers on large-scale production sites. These roots take hundreds of years to decompose and have little value for the soil, making it an ideal “waste” material to extract value out of without harming the environment.
SAYA hair sticks are made by Balinese artisans using traditional methods and are made to last. Additionally, for every stick sold, the company plants up to 10 seeds of endemic tree species on the degraded forest of Rinjani National Park.
I’ve had my SAYA hair accessoriy for almost 2 years and it’s a simple way to add a relaxed touch to your look. They have different types to suit your hair length and desired functionality.
