When fashion people talk about “transition pieces” all they want to do is give you the idea that you need to buy yet more shit. Although the concept of transition pieces is merely a marketing tool, it is true that for those used to constant temperatures and modern day comforts, there is a happy medium between a cardigan and a heavy wool coat. Here are some coats that I would buy right now to keep the elegant winter look of a long coat without the extra padding of a puffer jacket. Spring is coming.
My only tip is to choose something you’ll want to wear every winter over and over, like a camel coat, but I’m adding a couple more adventurous options for the rebel inside you.
