My Favorite Ugly Sneakers

Just when it looked like we were over the “ugly shoe” trend that started a few years ago and that was further glorified by fashion bloggers wearing cut out boots and babouches, a new victim started arising last year. I first saw the ugly sneaker by Louis Vuitton and Acne Studios make an appearance on influencer Instagram feeds, but it didn’t take long before every major designer had their own version of the ugly shoe.

I still haven’t bought any because I’m not sure they would look cool 6 months from now, but I’ve been close to getting the adidas Falcon, in case you were wondering. It looks less like an ugly sneaker and more like an old-school running shoe, but I’ll leave that up to you.
