Opening Ceremony Spring 2017 Ready To Wear
Lace and hoodies goals. Opening Ceremony created the perfect version of a lazy Sunday morning and ugly wedding dress swag that we all think we can pull off every once in a while. That homeless chic style that only 5’9″ models can achieve and that, for the rest of us, is just “homeless”. Because flats are not my thing, and because I’m not 5’9″, I should be appalled by this, but for some reason I’m not. It’s that thin line between love and hate that makes you get obsessed about a pair of shoes right after you saw them for the first time and thought they were the most disgusting thing ever. The collection does have elements that I’ve been hunting recently, like embroidery. pinstripes and trench coats. So I’ll just add it to the inspiration file before going out looking like an actual homeless person.
